Replacing the workpiece carrier train
To replace a workpiece carrier train the guide rail system must be ope-
ned. This is only possible on a corner unit, because here the guide rail bend and the base
body are divided.
1. Position the workpiece carrier train [1] that will be replaced at the beginning of a
corner unit, as shown.
1. On the corner unit pull out the alignment pins [3] of the guide rail bend.
2. Unscrew the fixing screws [4] of the guide rail bend.
3. Take off the guide rail bend [2].
4. Carefully pull out the workpiece carrier train [1].
5. Carefully slide the new workpiece carrier train [1] onto the guide rail.
`
Pay attention to the direction of travel. The sliding block must point toward the
centre of the system.
`
Avoid tilting the profile rollers toward the guide.
6. Fit the guide rail bend [2].
`
In this process ensure that the joint location and the placement surface are free of
contaminants.
7. Strike in the alignment pins [3].
8. Screw in the fixing screws [4] and firmly tighten.
9. Check the transitions on the guide profile to ensure that they are even.
