Installation Operation Maintenance
Installation
1. Remove parts and accessories from inside bin.
• Two lower drain pans
• 48" clear tubing
• Ice scoop
• 48" plastic paddle
• Two hangers
• Filler panels
Attach hanger hooks to top of bin before setting bin closure
in place.
Once closure and ice maker are setup in place, use filler
panels to fill in the gaps and create a solid top for insulation.
2. Remove filler panels and set aside - Do not remove the
“H”-frame from the panel.

Warning
Two or more people are required to lift or move this
appliance to prevent tipping and/or injury.
3. Carefully lay the bin on its back and remove bolts
connecting unit to pallet, then return the bin to the
upright position.
4. Position ice transport in intended location and adjust
feet to level ice transport in both directions.
5. Mark position of each flanged foot anchoring hole.
6. Move unit out of the way and install anchors for bolts in
the floor (supplied by others).
7. Reposition unit in intended position and anchor unit to
floor through flanged feet.
DANGER
Legs must be secured to floor through feet to avoid
possible movement and resulting injury.
8. Install cart drain pans on lower rear rail to capture melt
water from the cart drains.
9. Install bin drain pans below guillotine rails with 4
thumbscrews to capture melt water from bin.
10. Cut clear tubing into 2 equal length pieces. Secure plastic
hose to upper drain pan and place lower end in the cart
drain pan.
11. Install paddle support bracket on right and left side of
the bin.
12. Remove all tape, protective wrap and temporary
fasteners from door assemblies and outside of bin.
13. Mount ice machine(s) on top of bin in accordance with
ice machine Installation, Operation and Maintenance
manual.
14. Install additional restraints to the ice transport unit and
ice machine(s) as required by local code.
DRAIN REQUIREMENTS
• Bin drain termination must have an air gap.
• Drain lines must have a 1.5 inch drop per 5 feet of run
(2.5 cm per meter), and must not create traps.
• The floor drain must be large enough to accommodate
drainage from all drains.
• Run separate ice transport and ice machine drain lines
and insulate to prevent condensation.
