Measuring range
The blood pressure monitor shows your blood
pressure (SYS. = systolic and DIA. = diastolic value),
pulse and the time and date on the display. Blood
pressure is measured in mmHg (millimetres of
mercury).
This devices classifi es blood pressure measurements
based on the defi nition and standards set by the
World Health Organisation (WHO). WHO defi nes high
blood pressure as any measurements above 140
mmHg (systolic) and 90 mmHg (diastolic).
Your blood pressure monitor is fi tted with a
color indicator that makes it easier to assess your
measurements.
