ADDITIONAL PROGRAMMING SELECTIONS
If you’ve already programmed the 3210 using “Plug and Play”
or Terminal Selection (Chapter 2), you don’t need to continue
programming the 3210 (unless you need to set other features).
3.1 Introduction
Use this chapter to program the SCANTEAM 3210 Hand
Held CCD Scanner for
any programmable feature.
Additional programming selections include:
•
Prefixes and Suffixes
•
Output (beeper, delays, output mode, country codes)
•
Industrial Symbologies
•
Retail Symbologies
•
RS–232 (baud rate, parity, data format, protocols)
•
Data Formatter
•
CCD Operation
•
Wand Emulation and Laser Output
•
Status Check.
After you’ve programmed the SCANTEAM 3210, the
information represented by the programming bar codes is
stored in the scanner’s nonvolatile (Flash EPROM)
memory. If you turn the scanner off, nonvolatile memory
retains the programmed features.
