A suitable tool for changing the suction nozzle is integrated into the cleaning tool (5 13
500 99). The suction nozzles can be straightforwardly and quickly changed using a short
rotational movement (approx. 45°C). When inserting and locking the suction nozzle, press
gently against the heater element.
In the case of heavy deposits of dirt in the cone area, it is not possible to insert a new
suction nozzle. These deposits can be removed using the cleaning insert for the heater
element cone.

The operating instructions for the control unit used are applicable in addition to these operating
instructions.
7. Warnings
1. Always place desoldering tools not in use in the original holder.
2. Do not place any flammable objects near the hot desoldering tool.
3. Anti-static plastics are be treated with conducting material to prevent static charging. This
reduces the insulation properties of the plastic.
4. Work must not be performed on parts that are powered.
