Fixing Instructions
Please read and follow these fixing instructions carefully.
We recommend that you keep the instructions in a safe place.
Maximum total load: 30 kg per pair
Safety Hints
• Follow the instructions for setting up and operati-
ong the microwave oven.
• Lay the mains cable of the oven so that the
microwave oven cannot be accidentally pulled off
the mounting.
• Check the mounting for damage before fixing it up.
• Do not overload the mounting by placing heavy
objects on the microwave oven.
• Do not use the mounting for any purpose other than
that specified in these instructions.
• Do not exceed the maximum load of 30 kg per
bracket pair.
Area of use
This mounting is suitable for microwave ovens with a
total weight of 30 kg or less. It must be fixed only to
suitable walls. Any improper use of the mounting is
the responsibility of the user.
Description of the mounting
The mounting consists of two wall brackets with one
support arm and one extension arm each (Fig. 1).
Each bracket is provided with three holes for fixing
it to the wall.
a) Maximum screw tension = 582 N (approx. 60 kg)
e.g. according to a reputable plug manufacturer
(the Fischer Plug Chart) fixing in B15 concrete me-
ans a safety factor of at least 7. That means, the
plug used must withstand a pulling force of approx.
4074 N (420 kg).
b) Wall material
– This can be obtained from building
documents or from a specialist.
Fixing must be carried out with the aid of a spirit le-
vel, as a skewed fixing may impair the strength of the
mounting. Any fixing height may be chosen.
1. Decide the place where the mounting is to go.
With the aid of the spirit level position the bra-
ckets there so that they are level and upright and
mark the location of the fixing holes on the wall.
The distance between the two wall brackets cor-
responds to the distance between the base feet of
the microwave oven to be supported (Fig. 2).
2. Drill the holes to suit the type of plug and screw
used.
3. When fixing the mounting in position, care must
be taken to ensure that all the screws are correct-
ly tightened. If they are not, another fixing place
must be chosen.
4. Check once more that the mounting is level and
upright and then fit the extension arms B
(Fig. 1).
5. Before placing the microwave oven on the
mounting we recommend that you finally once
more check the mounting for strength by carefully
applying increasing pressure to it with the hand
(Care! Do not overdo the pressure!).
6. Now adjust the extension arms precisely to fit the
depth of the microwave oven (Fig. 3).
Cleaning/Maintenance
The mounting does not require any maintenance.
Nevertheless, the mounting and above all the wall
fixings should be inspected for damage every now
and then. For cleaning the mounting we recommend
warm water, a standard cleaning medium and a soft
cleaning cloth. Never use aggressive cleaning media.
