Configuring the Material Master import
If the Interface is to be activated, the next step is to configure the Material Master import:

Activate or Deactivate the import of Material Master data sets from other applications.

If the import feature is activated, specify where the data to be imported is to be found
as an XML file (the Source Directory). Once the individual files have been processed, the
interface service moves them to an archive directory which you must also specify here.

Specify how often the Interface Service should check the Source Directory for
unprocessed files and import them.

The Interface Service clears up the archive directory at regular intervals by deleting
files that are more than x days old. Specify how long the files should be kept in the
archive.
Options 2 to 4 are only available for input if the import feature is activated.
