Modification of the system or improper use renders the guarantee void and invalidates the manu-
facturer's responsibility.
Usage that is not described in the manual is considered to be improper. The operator of the pro-
duct is liable for damage caused by improper use.
2.2.1.2 Use of data
The data may only be processed by the WERMA-StockSAVER software. Direct read and write
access to database content or changes to the database structure through other software are
not supported.
WERMA reserves the right to optimise the software and the connected database. Updates can
lead to changes, additions and deletions in the database. Changes can affect the functioning
of the software or individual functions.
2.2.2 Preparations
1.
Note the minimum bin dimensions (75 x 165 x 100 mm).
2.
Remove all containers from the flow-rack.
3.
Make sure that there is a suitable voltage supply for the devices nearby.
4.
Make sure that an Ethernet connection is available.
5.
Clean the flow-rack with a cloth and, if necessary, a mild detergent.
6.
Have the following tools to hand for installation of the hardware:
– Parallel spanner for attaching the plugs
– Stripping tool for sensor cables (Ø 3.3 – 4.4 mm)
– Stripping tool for bus cables (Ø 4.4 – 7.0 mm)
The required tools can also be purchased as a set from WERMA (order number
865.000.29).
If the rack construction permits, WERMA recommends dismantling the flow-rack rails
before installing the components.
2.2.2.1 Unpacking the devices and components
1.
Unpack the devices and components and check them for damage.
2.
In the event of damage, inform WERMA Signaltechnik or the haulage company.

Check the scope of delivery against the order to verify:
