A SmartBox can set up a connection to the transceiver via at most two more Smar-
tBoxes. If necessary, up to 4 transceivers can be used that transfer data via the company
network.
Maximum ranges:
– Without repeater function: 300 m (in line of sight)
– With repeater function: 900 m (in line of sight)
Depending on the environment in which the system is used, the maximum range that
can be achieved in practice may be smaller.
If there are any unconnected but configured WERMA-StockSAVER devices, these are dis-
played in the lower part of the window.
5.6.1.1 Optimising wireless communication
Wireless communication can be improved by implementing the following measures:
– Position the WERMA-StockSAVER devices within sight of each other.
– Remove as many metal surfaces as possible between the WERMA-StockSAVER devices.
– Position the transceiver as ideally as possible.
