The CSV export can be used to transfer the material movements in the WERMA-StockSAVER sys-
tem to other applications.
The XML interface can be used to import material master data and export the material move-
ments in the WERMA-StockSAVER system.
6.2.1 CSV export
You can use the
CSV export
interface to incrementally write every change to the stock to a CSV
file. An entry is also exported for configuration changes (e.g. change to the bus cabling).
The CSV export is performed by the WERMA-StockSAVER server service and the export file is crea-
ted on the server.
If no material movement has taken place for a location since the last export, the current
status is not exported.
If you want the current status of these locations to be exported as well, you can use the
XML interface.
The export is usually carried out immediately with a time delay of less than one second.
The export may be delayed as a result of various error and performance factors, so a par-
ticular transfer and response time cannot be guaranteed.
If there are several new material movements, these are exported chronologically.
If there are several bookings for the same location, these are not grouped together.
If the material number of a location was changed, the stock with the old part number is
first withdrawn. The stock with the new part number is then replenished. Corresponding
entries are exported in the CSV export file.
If the bin quantity (pcs. per Bin) of a location is changed, an entry is exported with

If a location is deleted or the bus assignment is removed, an entry is exported with quan-
tity

and without stock limits.
6.2.1.1 Enabling CSV export
For optimum availability of the CSV interface, WERMA recommends:
– Saving the export file on a local data medium (not on a network drive).
– Setting up an exception in the virus scanner for the export file so that the export file is
not completely scanned on every export.
– Setting up write authorisation for the WERMA-StockSAVER server service for the direc-
