Pre-level end frame assembly by unlocking all
adjustable leg assemblies and extending legs equally. Lock
adjustable legs and run safety nut up snugly against locking
collar.

Attach diagonal braces to upper and lower
end frame horizontals to form a vertical "x" as shown.
Lean end frame assembly against top of
stairway of erected base section so that the end frame with
the bottom of the stairway attached is facing out. Make sure
the curved portion of the stairway end is up. Using caution,
pull the upper section onto the base section platform.
Line up the upper section frame posts with those of
the base section.
Raise top of end frame to vertical position and
insert stacking pins into sockets at top of end frame vertical
post of base section. Position interlocking pins through holes
of end frame vertical posts and stacking pins.

Attach horizontal brace to vertical posts of
end frames just above the second from top horizontal with
the frame lock tube opening facing out. Place plywood
platform on top of platform support assembly. Line up pins
in tube with holes in plywood.
Attach frame locks of platform assembly to top
horizontal of end frame erected. Lift and rotate remaining
end frame to a vertical position, then insert stacking pins into
sockets as before. Position interlocking pins as in
previous step.

Stairway Scaffold Base And Upper Section Assembly Instructions
Attach braces from outside outrigger posts
to end frame as shown.
Adjust outrigger leg to level outrigger frame.
Check that all frame locks are secure and for firm support
at all end frame and outrigger support points.
Attach frame locks of outrigger to vertical
post of base section as shown.
Push outrigger up vertical post of base
section until outrigger is against the top horizontal of
end frame as shown.

Attach outrigger to vertical post of base
section with couplers as shown.
Adjust outrigger for maximum extension and
set diagonally out from corner post at angle to maximize
both length and width as shown.

Lock telescoping leg with interlocking pin.
Check for firm support at all end frame and outrigger
support points.

Outrigger Attachment Instructions
For Model FRO Rolling Outrigger
Place end frame assembly in open area so
that the end frame with the bottom of the stairway attached
is on top. Raise top end frame. Lock casters by depressing
foot brakes. Raise platform support assembly and attach to
top of end frame by engaging frame locks. Raise platform
frame assembly by grasping end frame horizontal member to
which upper portion of stairway is attached.
Place plywood platforms on platform support
assembly. Line up pins in tube with holes in plywood.
Remove all people and material and final level using adjustable
legs. Lock all adjustable legs and casters. Read and
understand all instructions on scaffold and scaffold platform
before use. Check Federal,State, and Local Codes regarding
use of outriggers, toe boards, and guard rails or
consult manufacturer.

Outriggers may be required to increase the maximum height of a tower. Maximum platform height is equal to 4x the smaller base section dimension
of the scaffold or installed outrigger in most states. Check Federal, State and Local Codes regarding use of outriggers.
