Set an effect preset as default or global
Set an effect preset as a "default preset"
In the selected manuals, accompaniment or drums area, you can set an effect preset as your default preset.
Whenever you use a Factory Total Preset, the Total Preset automatically selects this default effect preset.
Set an effect preset as a Global Preset
You've probably noticed the "Set as Global" function in other areas. If a preset is marked as GLOBAL in one of
the manuals, accompaniment or drums, this selection is preserved in all total presets, even if you have saved
different settings in Total Presets.
This setting is maintained even after switching the instrument off and on until this setting is switched off
again by hand.
General operation of effect programming
1.
First, select manuals, accompaniment or drums area. This determines the area for which you want
to make the changes.
2.
Then, on the left, choose which effect you want to adjust. So Reverb 1, Reverb 2, Chorus or Echo.
3.
Select the desired effect program in the list.
4.
Use the MIX slider to adjust the volume of the effect (return) according to your wishes.
5.
Exit the effect display via BACK.
6.
Now remember to save your changes to the current Total Preset. Otherwise, selecting the next Total
Preset will overwrite the settings that are just made.
You can also easily perform the settings described above using the quick operation of the effects. See
chapter 4.8.3.2 Fast operation.
