5. Place the Spa Cover (18) over the spa. Make sure
that the Spa Cover is centered.
Snap a Buckle (2) onto each of the four latches on
the Spa Cover (18).
Pull down one of the straps on the Spa Cover (18)
and hold the Buckle (2) against the wood panels on
the side of the spa. (Note: To position the Buckle
correctly, have a second person hold the strap on
the opposite side of the Spa Cover tight.) The Spa
Cover must be tight. Do not place the Buckle
over the grooves between the wood panels.
Refer to the inset drawing. Remove the latch from
the Buckle (2). Attach the Buckle to the wood panel
with two Buckle Screws (1). Note: It may be helpful
to use a drill with a 1/16” bit to make starter
holes in the wood panel. It may also be helpful to
apply a little soap or wax to the screw threads.
Attach the other three Buckles (2) to the wood panels
in the same way.

6. Before using the spa, follow the instructions on page 13 to post the included warning sign. Do not allow the
spa to be used before the warning sign is posted.
4. Remove the two warning decals (not shown) from
the spa shell. Wipe out the spa shell using a damp
cloth. Before you fill the spa, make sure that it is in
the desired position and that it can easily be ser-
viced. Once the spa is filled with water, it must be
drained before it can be moved.
Using a garden hose or other clean water source,
begin filling the spa. Do not use soft water. You
may fill the spa with cool water; however, if you use
warm or hot water, the spa will be ready to use
sooner. Fill the spa until the water is about four
inches (10 cm) below the console. Do not overfill
the spa.
3.
The hydrotherapy spa is designed to operate with a 120 volt power source and must be wired directly to a
120 volt ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) installed in your home. This procedure must be performed
by a licensed, qualified electrician and conform with all local, state, and national electrical codes.
Before you have the spa wired, be sure that it is in the position you want, and that it can easily be serviced,
if needed.
