9. Disposal
9.1 Disposal instructions
If the machine would be put out of service, please follow the instructions below for disposal:
The refrigerant circuit of the ice cube maker contains HFC and lubricants that are harmful to water!
The machine must therefore be disposed of properly according to the relevant environmental protection
regulations. Should you have no options for proper disposal, please contact your specialist dealer or
WESSAMAT directly.
The orderly disposal includes:
•
Refrigerant R404a has to be extracted by a specialist and brought to a corresponding collection point
•
Waste oil must be let off and be disposed orderly.
•
Stainless casing parts must be disposed as stainless scrap steel.
•
Bring aluminium parts and aluminium cast parts to aluminium disposal points.
•
Non-ferrous parts (copper lines, brass parts) must be disposed as non-ferrous metal.
