There are very few faults that can occur in the audio freq uency system that
will enter into the quality of the radiated signal, without being evident from
meter readings. In the event that any of the meter readings are abnormal, the
cause should be found and remedied.
In case poor quality is noted and it is thought to be in the audio amplifier
system and all meters read normal, test the secondary of transformer
TlB,
and
the secondary shunt resistances
R24.1B, R24.2B
and
R�4.3B
for an open circuit.
Open the transformer primary connection and test for an open circuit.
M easure the resistances
Rl5.1B, R l 5.2B, Rl 5.3B, R1 5.4B, Rl 5.5B
and
R15.6B
to see that they have the proper values.
