Operation
Slide the roller onto the roller shaft.
Note:
The roller can only be installed one
way. When properly installed, the
directional arrow (C) on the end of the
roller will be visible.
6. Reinstall the roller end cover and fasten
it in place with the two roller end cover
hasps.
Caution:
Make sure the roller end cover is
properly seated onto the main housing and
the hasps snap into place.
Variable Speed Control
The variable speed control (2) can be ro-
tated to change the speed at which the
roller will rotate. Rotate the speed control
to the left (#1) for slowest speed and to the
right (MAX) for the fastest speed.
Note:
See the “Sanding” section of this
manual for recommended speeds.
ON/OFF Trigger Switch
The ON/OFF trigger switch (4) is a single
function switch. To turn the tool on, squeeze
the trigger. To turn the tool off, release the
trigger.
Lock-On Button
The lock-on button (3) is used to lock the
ON/OFF trigger switch in the ON position.
Locking the trigger switch in the ON position
will reduce hand fatigue when operating the
tool for extended periods of time.
1. To lock the trigger switch in the ON position, squeeze the trigger (4) to turn
the tool on.
2. While squeezing the trigger, press the lock-on button (3) into the handle.
