Operation
occur if excessive downward pressure is
applied. It will also create an inferior
finish on sanded work. Material softened
from the frictional heat may clog the
abrasive sleeve very quickly. Do not sand
in one spot as the abrasive sleeve will
remove too much material, making the
surface uneven.
When sanding wood, always move the
Roller sander forward and backward with
the grain. Sanding across the grain will
not leave a smooth surface.
Dust Extraction
Warning:
Dust resulting from sanding may be dangerous! Therefore always
use a dust extraction system or a vacuum cleaner with the roller sander.
Connect the suction hose to the dust extraction port (6).
Maintenance and Cleaning
Before undertaking any maintenance or cleaning work, disconnect the
power plug from the power mains.
Remove the Roller and use a stiff brush or compressed air to clean or
blow out the tool.
Keep the ventilation openings clean and free from obstructions at all times.
Clean out the slots after each use with a stiff brush or compressed air.
Do not use water or any other liquid to clean the sander. Do not use
solvents, abrasives or aggressive chemicals to clean the sander.
Store the sander in a dry place and protect it from dirt. Store the machine
out of reach of children and persons in need of supervision.
