Safety Notes
The spray gun is to be used only for paints and solvents with a 32° C
flashpoint or higher (See information on the material tin).
Keep in mind that static charges can be caused by the flow of liquids and/or
air through hoses, by spray painting and by cleaning of non conductive parts
with cloths. Make sure that the spray gun and all equipment used made in
metal are permanently grounded to prevent ignition from static discharge.
When wiping the paint container with a cloth, no dry cloth or dry paper must
be used. Static electricity can be generated by wiping, which can cause a
spark when discharging to a grounded object. This can lead to the ignition of
solvent vapours. Use only damp cloth or antistatic-specific tissues.
Immediately switch off the spray gun when the mains lead are interrupted or
damaged, when the switch is defective or when smoke or stench has been
caused by damaged isolation.
Only use an approved extension cable with a minimum cross section of
1.5 mm
2
. When using a cable reel, always unwind the reel completely.
Do not operate the unit if it does not work correctly or has been damaged. Do
not try to repair it yourself. Contact your customer support.
