Start-up
Inserting the Drill
1. Insert drill into the drill chuck (I) far enough to obtain maximum gripping of the
chuck jaws. Make sure that the drill is centred in the chuck. Tighten the drill
sufficiently, so that it does not slip while drilling.
2. Make sure that the chuck key is removed before switch on the machine.
There is risk of injury!
Adjusting the Drilling Depth
The drilling depth scale the drilling depth can be controlled.
1. Tighten the drill in the drill
chuck
and
secure
the
workpiece on the drill table.
2. Loosen the hex bolt (H) and
turn the depth limiter ring
(J) according to the scale
(U). Make sure the pointer
for the depth limiter (V)
shows the desired drilling
depth. Retighten the hex
bolt (H).
3. When
performing
blind
holes make sure to add the
tip of the drill bit to the
calculation. By doing this
you will obtain exact drilling
and you will avoid drilling into the table.
