Operation
Before first Use
Remove the paining gun and the accessories from the packing and check all
parts for damage in transit.
Dispose of packaging material or store them out of each of children.
Compressed Air
For the trouble-free operation of air tools clean air is required. Corroded material,
dust or dirt from the air line can compromise the performance and cause technical
problems.
For the best results use a separate air hose exclusively for working with the spray
gun. Other air hoses may contain residual oil which will contaminate the paint.
If possible, the air should be cleaned with a filter system. The air pressure should
be monitored as close to the spray gun as possible, because air cleaners and air
hoses may reduce the air pressure significantly. Use an air hose suitable for 10
bar with an interior diameter of at least 8 mm.
Setting the air pressure:
The spray gun is used with attached air pressure gauge: Adjust the air
pressure limiter until the desired pressure is reached.
The spray gun is used without attached air pressure gauge: Keep in mind that
pressure is lost in relation to the length and interior diameter of the hose.
A pressure loss of 0.6 – 0.8 bar for a 10 meter hose with an interior diameter
of 9 mm can be assumed.
