Safety Notes
Make sure the voltage corresponds to the type label on the unit.
Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities or lack of know-
how and/or lack of knowledge are not allowed to use the unit, unless they
are supervised for their safety by a qualified person or are briefed by the
responsible person how to use the unit.
Secure the work pieces to avoid slipping.
Keep your hands away from rotating parts.
Always lay down the finishing sander before the moving parts have come
to complete stop.
Always attach the dust bag or a vacuum cleaner to the dust extraction
flange while working with the finishing sander. Make sure that the
integrated dust extraction system is working properly.
Attention: The rotary sander is not designed for
wet sanding.
Always wear protective equipment, consisting of
safety goggles, dust mask and ear protection.
The dust produced during operation may be hazardous, inflammable or
explosive. Take suitable measurements. Especially make sure the dust
extraction equipment is working properly.
Repairs, inspections of the interior of the unit, adjustments and
replacement of the carbon brushes must only be undertaken by a
qualified person. Use only recommended spare parts!
Do not operate the unit if it does not work correctly or has been dropped.
Do not disassemble the unit and do not try to repair it yourself. Contact
your customer support.
