Operation
After installing a disc perform a brief test run. Discs which cause vibrations
must be replaced immediately.
Adjusting the Safety Hood
The safety hood should be aligned is such a way that it protects you from
sparks and flying debrie. You can either fix the hood in one position or leave it
mobile. The nut (11), which clamps down the hood is shown in figure 5 on
page III. You cab use the notch (8) on the face spanner (7) to manipulate it.
Tighten the nut to keep the hood locked in place. If you want to keep the hood
mobile to bew able to change its position easily, do not fully tighten the nut.
This is convenient if you use the machine in differen positions.
Turning ON and OFF
Tu turn the machine on, use the main switch (3). With the locking button (4)
the main switch can be locked in pressed position. To turn the machine off,
press the main switch again and the release it.
Operation
Rough Grinding
For the best results hold the machine against the surface in an angle between
30° and 40° in smooth, even movements.
2. Cutting
When Cutting, avoit tilting the angle grinder out of the cutting line. It is
advisable to use diamond discs when cutting hard stone.
The maximum permitted speed of the disc must be higher than the maximum
no load speed of the machine. The maximum permitted speed of the cutting
disc is printed on the disc.
