Safety Notes
The winch is designed and built in accordance to the applying safety
regulations.
Keep your working area clean and tidy.
Do not operate the winch in areas where rain or other precipitation is
present. Do not operate the winch on slippery grounds.
Do not work with the unit in an area where an explosion hazard is present on
account of flammable liquids, gases or dusts.
Wear suitable clothes. Do not wear loose clothes or jewellery. Keep hair,
clothes and gloves away from moving parts.
Do not use the winch any further if the winch or the power cable is dam-
aged.
Service the unit carefully. Check that movable parts function correctly and
do not jam, and whether any parts are broken or damaged in such a way
that the function of the unit is impaired. Have any damaged part repaired
before using the unit.
Only allow qualified technicians to repair your unit using only original
replacement parts. Once a year, have the unit checked by a qualified ser-
vice technician.
When connecting to the vehicle battery observe the applicable instructions
of the vehicle manufacturer. Note that the winch a has power consumption
of approx. 125 W. Do not pinch the power cable. There is a short-circuit and
fire hazard.
Do not use the winch from a motor vehicle with a running engine.
Never operate the winch at the same time when a charger is connected.
If you pull heavy loads, hang a blanket or a jacket on the cable in a distance
of about 1 – 2 m away from the hook in order to significantly reduce the
risks caused by a breaking cable.
Make sure that the warnings sings on the winch are clearly legible at all
times.
Before each use inspect the cable for any kinks, knots or damage.
If the cable is kinked or damaged, or if the cable is shaking under load, then
do not use it any further, and have it inspected and repaired by a qualified
technician.
The winch must never be used longer than 5 minutes without interruption.
