Operation
Make sure the free spooling clutch knob is securely engaged.
The winch is equipped with a thermal fuse, in order to protect the winch from
overheating the motor. The fuse can be triggered during operation, if
- the tractive force to pull the load is higher than the capacity of the winch.
- if the winch is operated for extended period of time. Stop pulling for some
minutes. If the fuse is still triggered, the tractive force is too high.
Check the charging status and charge the battery if needed or replace it.
Always make sure the battery power is 12 V.
Maintenance, Cleaning and Storing
Have the winch examined once a year by a safety expert. Repair the winch by
using original replacement parts only. Do not try to repair the winch yourself
and do not disassemble it.
If the winch is used regularly, lubricate all moving parts.
In the case of questions or problems please turn to our customer support
department.
Clean the housing of the winch with a lightly moistened cloth.
Store the winch in a dry place to avoid rust. Protect the winch from humidity,
dampness, sand, oil/benzene, salt and chemicals.
The clutch knob is adjusted by factory. Do not attempt to re-adjust the clutch
knob subsequently.
