Using
Exchanging the Battery of the Remote Control
Before first use, remove the insulating strip from the battery holder.
The battery compartment is located at the
underside of the infrared remote control. Turn the
remote control upside down. Depress the small
latch of the battery holder, as pictured, and pull out
the battery holder from the battery compartment.
Insert a new battery of the type CR2025 into the
battery holder. Pay attention to the proper polarity
of the battery. The plus pole has to face up.
Push the battery holder all the way back in until is
audibly snaps in place.
Replace the battery with a battery of the same type if the operating range of
the remote control decreases significantly or if the infrared receiver does not
react on the remote control anymore.
Mounting
If desired, you can shorten the RGB LED light strip
elements (G) to modify them according to your
needs. Markings with a scissors symbol are printed
at the bottom side of each element. At these marks
you can cut or split the LED light strip element by
means of a side cutter. Please note that only cut
LED light strip elements that have a connection
socket (no middle parts), can be integrated within
the chain and can be used for illumination.
Insert an inter-linking cable (E)
between a pair of LED light strips (G)
to establish an electrical contact
between the used elements (see
example 2). Alternatively you can
directly connect two LED light strips
(example 3).
Use one of the power cables (F) to
connect the first element of the LED
light strip chain with the connection
box (I).
Put end caps (C) on the open ends of the last elements of the LED light strips.
