Operation
Before first Use
Remove the device from the packaging. Keep packag-
ing material out of reach of children. There is a risk of
suffocation!
Installing/replacing the Batteries
1. The battery drawer is located at the bottom of the
unit. Draw it out straight down.
2. Insert one battery of the type CR2025 into the battery
drawer. Pay attention to the proper polarity of the
battery. The polarity is indicated on the unit.
3. Close the battery compartment with the battery
compartment cover.
Replace the battery if the display fades.
Operation
To turn on the unit press the ON/OFF button on the
back side of the unit.
The display shows the current temperature. It is
designed to operate with a certain response time; it
may take a few minutes until the unit reacts to a
temperature change.
Briefly press the temperature unit toggle button to
toggle between displaying the temperature in the unit
°C or °F.
