Operation
Inserting the Tools
Before attaching or removing the tools make sure the demolition
hammer is switched of and the power plug is removed from the
socket.
This type of tool chuck (2) allows a quick tool change without the
need for a spanner.
1. Before attaching the tool draw back the locking (1) and insert
the tool into the chuck as deep as it will go. Release the lock-
ing. Thus the tool will be hold in place.
2. Check the secure grasp of the chuck by pulling on the tool. It
must move in the chuck, but it will not come out.
3. To remove the tool, pull back the locking. Now you can pull
the tool out of the chuck.
When the hammer function is used, there is a constant mechani-
cal friction between the chuck and the tool shaft. Coat the end of
the tool shaft with a light coat of machine grease at regular
intervals.
Turning ON and OFF
To turn on the demolition hammer, first
press the safety switch (4) and then
push the ON/OFF switch (5).
To switch off the machine, release the
ON/OFF switch.
Always hold the demolition hammer
firmly with both hands!
