Safety Notes
Personal Safety Equipment
When working with the gasoline chain saw, wear eye
protection, protective gloves and hearing protection. Wear cut-
proof and tight-fitting clothes and safety boots.
Even in case of appropriate use of the chain saw a residual
hazard cannot be excluded. Potential human health hazards
can be:
Cuts due to contact with an unprotected saw chain or when
touching a moving saw chain. An unexpected moving of the
guide bar can also result in severe cuts.
Abrasions due to parts that are thrown off the saw chain or
from the cut material.
Inhaling gas that is generated by the combustion motor or by
contact with fuel on the skin.
The gasoline chain saw has a hand arm vibration of 8 resp.
9.5 m/s

. To avoid injuries due to the hand arm vibration, take
sufficient rest breaks. Please note the vibration value may
vary if
- the chain saw is not used properly or the chain saw is not
correctly assembled,
- the wooden material is not processed correctly,
- the saw chain is not sharp.
