Maintenance
Oiling Port
Dismount the guide bar and check
the oiling port for clogging. Clean
the oiling port with a fine brush or
with compressed air.
Fuel Filter
1. Using a wire hook,
take out the filter
from the filter port.
2. Disassemble
the
filter and wash with
gasoline, or replace
with a new one, if
needed.
Oil Tank
With a wire hook, take out the oil filter
through the filter port and clean in
gasoline. When putting the filter back into
the tank, make sure that it comes to the
front right corner. Also clean off dirt in the
tank, if necessary.
Spark Plug
A good spark plug condition is influenced by an
incorrectly adjusted carburettor, wrong oil and fuel
mixture or a dirty air filter. These factors can cause
deposits on the spark plug electrodes which may
result in starting difficulties or operating problems.
Clean the electrodes with a wire brush and reset the
gap to approx. 0.65 mm as necessary.
The fastening torque has to be 15 to 17 Nm.
