Safety Notes
Make sure the voltage corresponds to the type label on the unit. Operate
the machine only on an earthed wall socket.
The tile cutting machine is only approved for cutting tiles with a cutting
depth of up to 10 mm.
When cutting long tiles make sure the tiles are sufficiently supported in
order to avoid an overturn.
Keep the worktop and the surrounding area free from foreign objects or
adjusting tools.
Make sure that the rotating direction indicator on the cutting disc (D)
complies with the arrow on the hood.
Make sure the riving knife is correctly aligned before starting work.
Spin the cutting disc by hand while the power plug is pulled
to make sure it
is free from obstruction.
Never
let the cutting disc run dry. A dry cutting disc will lead to overheating
and the destruction of the cutting surface.
Before starting a cut, let the cutting disc spin freely for a few seconds in
order to reach full speed. If you hear an unusual sound or sense excessive
vibration, turn off the unit and pull the power plug.
Do not allow uninvolved persons to stay in the vicinity of the machine.
Never cut more than one tile at the same time.
Do not cut pieces, which are too small to be held safely against the guide
bar without putting your fingers too close to the cutting disc.
Let the cutting disc come to a full stop before and pull the power plug,
before freeing stuck work pieces or doing any other kind of work around
the cutting disc.
Never
remove stuck tiles while the cutting disc is running.
Do not expose the tile cutting machine to rain.
Wear suitable protective clothing, such as dust and ear protection.
When leaving the working area, turn off the unit and pull the power plug.
