Using
Executing a diagonal cut
Proceed as with the straight cut, but use the angular
stop. Make sure that the tile is set tightly against the
angular stop before making the cut.
Cuts with inclined worktop
Loosen the star locking screws of the angle scale (I) and tilt the worktop(C) to
the desired angle. Tighten both locking screws.
Changing the cutting disc
1. Pull the power plug from the wall socket before changing the cutting disc.
Use only cutting discs with smooth edges,
never use discs with segmented or ser-
rated edges. Use cutting discs according
to the tile material to be cut.
2. Remove both cutting disc covers (parts
no. 16 and 17) and use the included
wrenches to open the outer flange, as
shown in the picture.
Attention: left hand thread!
3. Before inserting the cutting disc, make sure the shaft and the flange are
clean. Insert the cutting disc. Observe the correct rotating direction. The
arrow on the cutting disc (D) has to correspond with the arrow rotating
direction of the motor.
4. Mount the outer flange on the shaft.
Selecting the cutting disc
Use only cutting discs with smooth edges and a diameter of 180 mm; the size
of the middle hole must be 22.2 mm.
Use only cutting discs with a maximum speed higher than the maximum
rotating speed of the unit (3000min
-1
).
