TROUBLESHOOTING - CONTINUED
BEFORE CALLING FOR SERVICE
If the iron fails to operate:
1. Check to make sure the iron is plugged in correctly and securely. If it is not,
remove the plug from the outlet, wait 10 seconds and plug it back in securely.
2. Check for a blown or tripped circuit breaker in your home. If these seem to be
working correctly, test another appliance in the same outlet to ensure the outlet
is working correctly.
IF NONE OF THE ABOVE SOLVES THE PROBLEM, DO NOT TRY TO ADJUST OR
REPAIR THE IRON YOURSELF.

CLEANING & CARE
AFTER EACH USE
1.
Remove the plug from the mains socket. Ensure that the temperature dial is in
‘OFF’ and the steam control switch is in ‘0’ position.
2. Allow the appliance to cool down approximately 30 minutes before handling or
cleaning. Avoid touching the soleplate when hot.
3. Empty the water tank after each use. Use caution when emptying the water tank
as the water inside may be hot.
4. Wipe the Cera-Silk® soleplate with a soft, damp cloth and non-abrasive (liquid)
cleaner and dry thoroughly.
5. If burnt fibers are stuck to the soleplate, dampen a soft cloth with vinegar and
wipe off.
6. Exterior of the appliance may be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Do not use
solvents or bleach as this may damage the finish of the appliance.
NOTE:
Never use harsh or abrasive cleaning agents or any sharp instruments for
cleaning the unit.
DANGER
Do not under any circumstances immerse the iron, power cord or power
plug in water or any other liquid.
