Pneumatic Connections
To ensure that the ICoT 6000 positioner operates correctly, it is important that the
operating pressures of the actuator and positioner are compatible with the air supply
pressure.
It is equally important that the actuator swept volume is compatible with the CV of the
selected manifold in order to meet the application requirements. The positioner working
pressure is determined by the internal transducer and should be specified accordingly.
As mentioned before, important information is the flow capacity needed by the actuator.
The Westlock ICoT 6000 can be ordered with different flow capacities according to the
selected manifold, which has different sizes, material and flow capacity.
Manifold Connection
Pneumatic connections are always located in the positioner manifold, outside of the positioner main
enclosure.
