The Signal Generator function block generates values between 45 and 55 in its output to control the valve
position. Check the status of each input and output, and the variation of the valve position to be sure that
the application is running well.

If the application is not running as expected, see the Chapter 9 (Maintenance and Repair) for diagnostics
information and for troubleshooting. Also, as this is not a real process application, the results may not the
same of a real world application, where a positioner is continuously modifying the valve position while AI is
the transmitter PV of the process where the valve is assembled.
