Power /Network and Field wiring – Remote Mount – ICoT 6400
Positioner and Junction Enclosure
1-
Remove cover from the remote mounted ICoT Junction Enclosure and complete network wiring
as in section 4.2 of this document Locate terminal board mounting screws (See Figure 6-1)

Remove the two screws and lift up terminal board (See Figure 6-2 ).
Locate J3 & J4 connectors on the bottom of terminal board and connect 2 plugs of remote cable as shown

Run the remote cable through ICoT Junction Enclosure conduit entry as shown in Figure 6-4 (use
proper conduit fitting or gland fitting for IP66 rating for 0.162” O.D. cable).

Replace the terminal strip board, and replace the terminal board mounting screws. If necessary,
cut remote cable to required length, making sure to cut end opposite female connector.

Locate the actuator mounted Position Sensor enclosure and remove cover.

Wire the cable from Junction Enclosure to Position Sensor enclosure as shown in Figure 6-4
8-
Run remote cable through Position Sensor conduit entry (use proper conduit fitting or gland
fitting for IP66 rating for 0.162” O.D. cable).
After all connections have been made and tested replace Positioner Sensor cover.
