6. Cleaning and Maintenance
6.3 General Notes
This multimeter is a precision measuring instrument and must be
handled with care. Do not modify the device or alter the internal
circuits.
Maintenance and repair of the device should only be performed by
a qualified technician!
Ensure the multimeter is kept away from sources of humidity and
liquids.
Do not expose the multimeter to extreme temperatures and store
the device at normal room temperature.
Accurate measurement results are only guaranteed if the device is
handled with care and well maintained.
Do not operate the device in a dusty or dirty environment.
Remove empty batteries from the device as soon as possible and
replace them with new ones. Leaking batteries can cause damage
to the electronic circuits.
Cleaning
Only clean the device with a soft moist cloth.
Only use common mild detergents for cleaning.
Do not use aggressive substances or similar for cleaning.
