11. Battery Test
1. Set the rotary function/range switch (2) to the desired battery
voltage range 1.5 V or 9 V (BATT).
2. Connect the black test lead to the COM jack (5) and the red
test lead to the V

3. Connect the red measuring probe with the plus pole of the
battery and the black measuring probe with the minus pole of
the battery.
4. The voltage of the battery is shown on the display.
12. General Use, Maintenance, Care
Your digital multimeter is a high precision instrument and should
be treated accordingly. Open it only to if you have to replace the
fuse or the battery. Turn it off before and remove the leads from
the circuit under test. Due to the high integration of the device
and the risk of affecting the accuracy, you never should modify or
repair the device. For repair and calibration service, contact our
customer service.
Do not expose the device to water, dust, sand, dirt and extreme
temperatures. All these factors cause damage and shorten the
life of electric contacts, batteries, body parts, switches and
electronic components. Only use full and leak-proof batteries
such as Alkaline types.
Do not use corrosive chemicals for cleaning in order not to
damage the surfaces, the label and the display window.
