Operation
Always keep the soldering tip tinned to ensure a long life
span of the soldering tip.
If the soldering tip becomes hard to wet, use solder and
flux to reactivate it. Wrap some solder with included flux
around the cold soldering tip and heat up the tip until the
solder melts.
To maintain optimum performance of the device, replace
used or overheated soldering tips early. Replacement
solder tips are available at Westfalia.
Do not use abrasives or aggressive chemicals or similar
for cleaning the device. Only use a slightly moistened
cloth.
Store the unit indoors, in a dry place that is protected from
dust, dirt and extreme temperatures.
Store the unit out of reach of children.
Batteries and rechargeable batter-
ies do not belong in household
garbage.
