peats. Then the device switches into normal mode. The
device is ready for use now.
Indications and Functions
LC Display
In normal mode (standby mode), the display is switched
off. However, if the electrochemical sensor detects carbon
monoxide, the LCD shows the determined CO concentra-
tion in ppm/parts per million.
Test-/Memory Function with highest Level
Indication
If carbon monoxide has been detected during your
absence, but the carbon monoxide detector is already
reset to normal mode since any CO contamination can-
not be detected anymore, the device stores the deter-
mined CO peak value.
Briefly press the TEST/RESET key (2). The CO detector
emits 3 short beeps and the highest measured CO level
is displayed. The red LED (6) flashes rapidly. A few
seconds later this repeats. Then the CO detector re-
turns to normal standby mode. Press the TEST key
twice within 5 seconds to delete the highest level
memory.
Test the carbon monoxide detector once a month.
Note: Do not expose your ears directly to the alarm sig-
nal, but hold the device at least at arm’s length.
