Hint:
If the magnifier lamp cannot be switched on after changing the illuminant,
you also have to check the starter.
The starter is a standard type single starter with 240 V AC, 4 - 80 W.
For replacing the starter, first turn the starter counter clockwise and pull it out of
the socket. Always replace the starter with one of the same type and dimension.
Cleaning
Before cleaning or maintaining, allow the magnifier lamp to cool down fully.
First disconnect the plug from power mains. Do not pull the cord to unplug
from the wall socket but grasp the plug itself to unplug.
Do not wipe the magnifier with sharp detergents or aggressive chemicals in
order not to damage the surfaces.
To remove dirt or fingerprints, clean with a soft cotton cloth. Do not use
scraping cloths to avoid scratching the lens. Do not touch the lens with your
fingers.
Wipe the unit with a dry cloth only.
