Using
Charging the Solar Module with the Battery Charger
1. For charging the batteries in the solar
module with the battery charger, first
disconnect the solar module from the pump.
2. Remove the plug from the charging socket
CHARGE (4). Connect the plug of the
battery charger with the socket CHARGE
and the power plug with a wall socket. The
LED on the battery charger lights up red.
After charging the rechargeable batteries,
the LED lights up green. Disconnect the
battery charger from the solar module and
the wall socket.
3. It is very important to re-insert the plug into the charging socket CHARGE in
order to make sure no moisture can enter the socket.
4. Always charge the solar module indoors.
Adjusting the Pumping Performance
The pumping performance can be adjusted with the regulator (14). Turn the
regulator clockwise in order to increase pumping performance and turn counter
clockwise to decrease performance.
Troubleshooting
If no water is pumped after several sunny days with direct sunlight, please check
the following possible causes:
The pump is clogged,
The solar module is dirty,
The batteries in the remote control are spent.
