ger of electric shock, or of the cables beco-
ming entangled with the rotating brushes.
The machine may only be put into operation
if the voltage quoted on the rating plate is
the same as that available in the building
(+/– 5%).

3.2 Restrictions on use

– The machine must not be used at tem-

peratures below 0°C.

– The water temperature must not exceed

50° C.

– No foam-producing or abrasive cleaning

agents or flammable solvents must be
used.

3.3 Preparatory work

– Sweep or damp wipe the floor to be cle-

aned.

3.4 Fitting attachments, making
adjustments

– The choice of cleaning agent and

attachments depends on the type of
floor and its degree of soiling. Always
use the correct dosage !

Basic cleaning or heavy soiling

Wetrok Remat or Antiwax/Exal.
Dosage 1:20.
Smooth floors: pad drive disc with black or
green Wetrok Polypad.
Rough floors (e.g., natural stone): scrub-
bing brush.

Upkeep cleaning:

Wetrok Redur or Resal. Dosage 1:100.
Pad drive disc with green or red Polypad,
possibly scrubbing brush.
Only use cleaning agents that are compati-
ble with water and the machine.

Fitting/Removing the work elements:

– Only use original Wetrok working elements.
– Ensure that the machine is switched off

and secured.

– Raise the brush housing by operating the

brush lowering pedal (C1) with your foot.

– Apply the brush housing lock (C2) by

turning clockwise 90° to the stop.

– Remove the work elements by turning in

the direction of the rotation of the brus-
hes (see the pictogram information ).

– Fit the work elements by hand, and then

turn in the opposite direction to the
brush rotation until the stop locks in (see
the pictogram information). If using pads
(L4), these must first be fixed to the pad
drive disks (L3).

– Remove the brush housing fiximgs (C2)

again by turning counter-clockwise 90°
until it stops.

– Only lower the brush housing again if the

main key switch (B5) is at the ON posi-
tion. Operate the brush lowering pedal
(C1) with your foot.

Exercise caution with sensitive floor coverings.

Filling with fresh water/cleaning agent:

– Open the tank cover (D1).
– Fill the fresh water tank [rigid wall or dia-

phragm tank (G4)] with water.

– Add the prescribed dosage of the des-

ired cleaning agent.
The dosage instructions must be followed!

– Close the tank cover (D1).

Adjusting the suction nozzle

The ideal setting depends on the sqeegee
blades being used, the application pressure
and the angle set. Adjust the angle of inclina-
tion until the optimal suction effect is achie-
ved. The basic setting of the suction nozzle
will be set by Wetrok. Additional settings can
be achieved by turning the setting screws (A1
+ A2). The setting screw (A1) adjusts the
pressure angle to the floor surface. The
height and thereby the application pressure
of the squeegee blades to the floor surface
can be set with setting screw (A2). The sque-
egee blades can be adapted to the floor sur-
face at any time with the help of the suppor-
ting wheel for the suction nozzles (A3).

3.5 Operation

Putting the machine into operation

Checks

B-model:

– EMERGENCY STOP plug (I1 / K1) plug-

ged in and functioning (charging unit
cable removed).

E-model:

– EMERGENCY STOP plug (I1 / K1) plug-

ged in and functioning. Connect the
connecting cable to the 230 V / 50 Hz
socket.

– Lower the brush housing (D4) by opera-

ting the brake lowering pedal (C1) with
the foot). The water feed and the brush
rotation starts automatically.

– Lower the suction nozzle manually using

the nozzle lowering lever (A6). The suc-
tion function starts automatically.

– Depending on the level of soiling, the

water quantity should be regulated using
the water dosage control (A7 / I2).

– Drive away as soon as the brush motor

switches on, as otherwise ring-shaped
abrasion patterns could be formed. The
brush function should be switched off if
stationary for more than 3 seconds.

A-model:

– Switch for drive direction (H1) upwards

= forward movement

– Switch for drive direction (H1) down-

wards = reverse movement

– Press the drive lever on the steering

handle (A11/A5).

– The forward driving speed can be acce-

lerated by turning the potentiometer (H2)
clockwise. If the drive is overloaded, the
red lamp (H4) lights up after approxima-
tely 30 seconds, and the drive motor
(D6) will be switched off automatically.
After a waiting period of approx. 45 sec.,
the Reset button (H3) must be pressed
briefly, after which the drive motor func-
tions correctly.

Working method

– When working in strips, overlap the edge

of the cleaned surface by about 3 – 5 cm
in the next pass.

– Adjust water supply and driving speed to

the degree of soiling of the floor.

– Observe the floor in front of and behind

the machine. Always supply sufficient
water. The detached dirt should be was-
hed away and be sucked up with as
much liquid as possible.

– Heavily soiled floors should first be wet

with a cleaning solution (even before the
basic cleaning), which should be allo-
wed to work in for a few minutes.

Emergency brake

(all models)

If an obstacle is suddenly encountered, the
machine can be abruptly brought to a
standstill by pressing the EMERGENCY
STOP lever (I1) (see K1).

Driving on inclines

(A-model)

When driving down a slope, the speed of
the machine can be regulated with the drive
speed potentiometer (H2). Do not drive on
slopes with gradients of more than 2%.

Battery discharge monitoring

(B1 – B3)

This information applies for runtime of 2.40-
3.00 hours for one 100 Ah / 24V batterie.
The green indicator lamp (B1) lights up
when the batteries are fully charged. The
yellow lamp (B2) lights up to indicate immi-
nent discharge (only another 15 – 20 minu-
tes of operation). Full discharge is indicated
by a red lamp (B3). The suction motor and
the brush motors will be switched off at the
same time as the water feed.
This is the end of work, and the batteries
must be recharged (see Chap. 4.3)

NOTE:

– The red LED (B3) sometimes lights up

during charging.

Foam formation monitoring

(B4 / red LED blinks)
– The waste water tank is full. The tank

must be emptied.

– Briefly operate the key switch (B5) OFF -

ON.

E-model:

Briefly unplug the mains cable.

The LED goes out again.

Adjusting the brush pressure

The basic machine setting when delivered
by Wetrok is approx. 270 N.

Lowering the brushes

The brush housing (D4) is lowered by ope-
rating the brush lowering pedal (C1) with
the foot. The water feed is automatically
activated at the same time.

Lowering the suction nozzles

The suction motor is turned on automatical-
ly by lowering the suction nozzles with the
help of the nozzle lowering bracket (A6).

Water supply regulation

Depending on the degree of soiling, the
flow can be regulated using the water sup-
ply dosage (A7 / I2).

NOTE:

– The water supply dosage (A7 / I2)

should be set to Position 0 when the
machine is not being used!
