Introduction
Congratulations on purchasing this high
quality product.
Before leaving our factory the
EHC 10
battery crimp tool has been tested and
inspected thoroughly by our Quality
Assurance.
Please read the chapters carefully on
safety and protective measures before
operating the battery crimper for the first
time in order to become aware of possible
dangers and to act accordingly.
The Battery Crimp Tool
EHC 10
is
designed for the application of different
contacts. A large variety of changeable die
sets and the high compacting pressure up
to
10t (21,000lbs) enable a wide
application range.
The 360° revolving crimphead allows a
use of the crimper even at spots that are
difficult to reach. For stationary use a table
fixture with foot pedal is available.
The straight action principle of the tool
guarantees an optimal crimping and meets
highest quality requirements.
The moveable frame can be changed,
thus making the tool even more flexible for
differing applications.
Use the tool exclusively for the
designed purpose!
Any damages or injuries resulting from
an improper use are excluded from the
warranty of the manufacturer.
For example:

materials in connection with the tool

unauthorized modification of the tool
•
unauthorized use of devices,
accessories etc. in connection with the
tool
Function:
The tool has an electro-hydraulic drive
powered by a 12V battery. An electric
engine drives the hydraulic pump.
The piston of the hydraulic cylinder releases
the feeding of the ram. The feeding speed of
the ram is infinitely variable via the push-
button. The button must kept pushed during
the entire crimp cycle. The cycle can be
interrupted any time.
