Gas adjustments
The hose must be connected as shown in Fig. 1 and 2, in compliance with the
local regulations.
Natural gas
Use outlet union GN for natural gas. The hose must be connected to the outlet
union and secured using hose clamp B (Fig. 1). A mechanical connection can
also be used where appropriate. To make this connection, remove the NG nut
from the tip of the manifold. Place the extra seal that is placed in the injector set
on the connector to the appliance, and then assemble the connector to the
appliance. The connector to the appliance must be ½” threaded female.
Butane/Propane gas
Use outlet connector B/P for Butane/Propane gas. The hose must be connected
to the outlet union and secured using hose clamp B (Fig. 2).
The hose must not be longer than 2 m. It must be a standard hose and replaced
within the date printed on it.
Important:
Close the gas supply cock before carrying out any maintenance
operation.Connection details: see the specific regulations for your country.
Use pressure regulators that are suitable for the gas pressure values
given on the Injector Table supplied separately
If the appliance is arranged for a type of gas different from that available, it is
necessary to change the injectors, adjust the minimum flame and change the
outlet union.
Carry out the following operations to change the hob injectors: remove the pan
supports, remove the burners and burner caps (see Fig.3); change the injector
(Fig.4) and replace it with one suitable for the new type of gas (see table on the
separate Product Sheet).
Replace the gas setting label with the new one
included in the injector bag.
Refit everything by proceeding in reverse order, making sure to correctly fit the
burner cap on the burner.
Replacing oven and grill burner injectors:
To replace the oven and grill burner injectors:Remove the oven and grill burners
by undoing the fixing screws located on the tip of the burner.Remove the existing
injectors on the injector (Fig. 5) holder and replace them with the new ones
supplied in the spare set.
Minimum for hob taps
NB:
The appliance injectors must be replaced by an authorised
technician.
For appliances equipped with Flame Failure Devices and microswitches, the
control panel must be removed in order to safely access the adjusting screw.
To adjust the minimum flame, proceed as follows
•
Light the burner and turn the knob to min. ; remove the tap knob (Fig.6).
Insert a small screwdriver in the tap pin (Fig.7).
Turn the adjustment screw anticlockwise to increase the flame, or clockwise to
decrease it. Adjustment is correct when the flame is approx. 3 - 4mm.
The adjustment screw must be completely screwed down for butane/propane
gas.
Make sure the flame does not go out when switching straight from
high to low flame and vice versa.Refit the knob.
