6)  WATER CONNECTIONS 
 

INLET: 

The  pressure  in  the  main  water  supply  must  be  between  50  and  500  Kpa,  in  the  event  the 
pressure is higher, a pressure reducer must be installed upstream from the appliance.

7)  GENERAL OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 
 

Please  read  these  instructions  carefully,  as  they  give  the  basic  safety,  operating  and 
maintenance instructions for the appliance. 

 
Before leaving the factory, the appliance underwent very strict tests and controls by our qualified 
staff. Any repair work that may be required must only be performed by qualified persons. 
We strongly recommend contacting the authorised centre where you purchased your appliance, 
giving  clear  details  about  the  problem  and  the  construction  details  given  on  the  data  plate,  to 
ensure that precise and specific servicing assistance can be supplied. 
 
BAIN-MARIE UNITS 
 
The  appliance  must  not  be  used  unless  there  is  sufficient  water  in  the  tank,  as  given  in  the 
instructions on page 11. 
 
HEATED GLASS TOPS 
 

WARNINGS: 

a)  Should there be even the smallest sign of breakage in the heated surface, the appliance 

must be immediately disconnected from the mains and our service department should be 
contacted. 

b)  The  hardened  glass  surface  must  be  protected  against  impact,  knocks  and  violent 

mechanical and thermal stress. At the end of each day, the top must be carefully cleaned 
(refer to “CLEANING AND CARE”) to guarantee long life for the appliance. 

 

At  the  end  of  each  day’s  work,  the  appliance  must  be  turned  off  and  disconnected  from 
the mains upstream. 

 
The appliance may be supplied on 4 castors, 2 of which have brakes. 
The installer must install a coiled lead and in the event the appliance needs moving, it must be 
turned off and disconnected from the mains beforehand. 
 
Failure to comply with this rule could jeopardize safety of both the appliance and the operator 
 
The manufacturer declines all responsibility for any alterations made to the original functions of 
the appliance, for failure to observe the instructions or for any alterations or additions made to the 
devices.
