7. Measure the distance from the inside edge of the custom
cabinetry door facing to the pencil mark as shown.
8. With the drying cabinet door open against the custom
cabinetry door, measure from the outside edge of the custom
cabinetry door using the distance found in step 7 and adding
⁵⁄₈
in. as shown. Attach slider to custom cabinetry door with
⁵⁄₈
in. Phillips-head wood screws provided. Drill appropriate
size holes for the screws in the custom cabinetry door,
checking to make sure the holes or screws do not go all the
way through the custom cabinetry door.
9. Repeat steps 7 and 8 with each of the 2 remaining slider and
bracket units.
Complete Installation
1. Check to be sure all parts are now installed. If there is an
extra part, go back through the steps to see which step was
skipped.
2. Check to be sure you have all of your tools.
3. Dispose of all packaging materials.
4. Use a mild solution of liquid household cleaner and warm
water to remove waxy residue caused by the protective
shipping material. Dry thoroughly with a soft cloth. For more
information, see “Drying Cabinet Care” in the
Use and Care Guide.
5. Plug into a grounded 3 prong outlet. Turn power on.
6. Read “Drying Cabinet Use” in the Use and Care Guide.
7. Set the drying cabinet on a full heat cycle (not an air cycle) for
20 minutes and start the drying cabinet.
If the drying cabinet will not start, check the following:
■
Controls are set in a running or “On” position.
■
Start button has been pushed firmly.
■
Drying cabinet is plugged into a grounded 3 prong outlet.
■
Electrical supply is connected.
■
House fuse is intact and tight; or the circuit breaker has
not tripped.
■
Drying cabinet door is closed.
8. When the drying cabinet has been running for 5 minutes,
open the drying cabinet door and feel for heat.
NOTE: If drying cabinet fails to heat after setting knobs to high
settings, but the fan runs, turn the TIME control knob to “0” and
wait 30 minutes. If it does not heat after restarting, see
“Assistance or Service” in the Use and Care Guide.
