c) Remove the gas line from the gas valve.
d) Remove the mounting screw from the
gas manifold and remove the valve and
its rubber grommet from the manifold.
5.
To remove a gas valve:
a) If not already done, remove the control
panel (see step 3).
b) Pull the ignition switch off the gas valve
you are removing.
REASSEMBLY NOTES:
1.
When installing a new gas valve, make
sure that the rubber grommet is in place on
the valve (see above).
2.
Do not overtighten the gas valve mounting
screw.
b) Pull the range away from the wall and
remove the top rear cover (4 screws).

c) Disconnect the red and black ignition
switch wires from the two harness con-
nectors.
