Complete Installation
NOTE: Handle the air conditioner gently.
1. Make sure the free end of the ground wire is outside of the
cabinet.
2. Insert the air conditioner into cabinet.
NOTE: Make sure the free end of the ground wire is outside
of the cabinet.
3. Connect the green ground wire to the ground screw.
Position the ground wire pointing straight up. Put the excess
ground wire between the coil and the air conditioner cabinet.
4. Reinstall the two screws that attach the cabinet to the base.
5. Push the front panel straight on and then lower it slightly to
lock it into place.
6. Reinstall the two screws to attach the front panel to the air
conditioner cabinet.
NOTE: For through-the-wall installations, if needed, install the
molding around the room side of cabinet.
7. Plug into a grounded 3 prong outlet.
8. Press RESET on the power supply cord. See “Electrical
Requirements.”

Use two or more people to move and install
air conditioner.
Failure to do so can result in back or other injury.

Do not remove ground prong.
