To Remove the Top Panel
1.
Unplug dryer or disconnect power.
2.
Remove the three (3) 7 mm hex-head / Phillips screws from
the top panel as illustrated in Figure 1.

Pull back to remove top panel from the dryer.

To Remove the Side Panel(s)
Access to the base components can be achieved by removing
either the right or left side panels. The service technician can
access the motor and blower assembly by removing the right
side panel. Removing the left side panel provides access to the
base component connectors for ease in diagnostics.

Perform the procedure “Removing the Top Panel” on this
page prior to performing the following steps.

Use a TORX T-20 driver to remove the three (3) screws from
the back of one or both side panel(s) (circled in Figure 1).

If removing the right side panel, detach the harness clip
affixed to the top of the panel and remove the T20 screw
attaching the ACU. See Figure 2.

Use a TORX T-20 driver to remove the top-front two (2)
screws on one or both side panel(s). See Figure 2.
5.
Lift up on side panels(s) and remove from dryer.
6.
Reverse procedure to reinstall panels.
Removing the Top and Side Panels

Disconnect power before servicing.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.
Replace all parts and panels before operating.
