Always start by ironing fabrics that require a low temperature. Then iron fabrics that require
a higher temperature.
•
When setting the iron to a lower setting temperature, wait until the temperature indication
light turns back on. Once the set temperature has been reached, the light will turn off and
you can continue ironing. This ensures that the appliance’s temperature is not too high.
•
For
fabrics made from mixed fibres, adjust the iron’s temperature setting for the most
delicate fibre.
•
If using the appliance after a long period of disuse, first carry out the procedure described in
‘First Use’.
•
If using starch, clean the soleplate regularly with a soft, damp cloth to prevent scale build-
up.
